How to apply filters (search) to reduce your data set using Application_Manager

Using Search bar in the Application Manager, you can apply filter to reduce your data set.

1. Login to the Application Manager.

2. Specify the user from the selected domains on which you wish to operate.

To form the filter for the users, you

  • Select a property name from the User Filter Property list box.
  • Select an condition from the operator list box.
  • Enter a user name in the Value edit box.
  • Select domain name in the Domain box.
  • Click the Reload Filters to search the result.

Note: A blank screen is displayed on the screen. Search result is displayed when you expand the list of domains and users in the Entity view / Application View.

For example:

Below screenshot explains how to reset the Account Status property of a user nileema@mithi.com using filter.

To form the filter for the users, you

  • Select a mail from the User Filter Property list box.
  • Select an contains from the operator list box.
  • Enter a nileema in the Value edit box.
  • Select mithi.com in the Domain box.
  • Click the Reload Filters to search the result.

Which shows a blank screen.

  • Go to the Application View > Directory > Account Information > User
  • Change the property Account Status.
